Marks and Spencer to Close for Several Months

I was holding back what I know, but since it's on the front pageI'll post the dates ive been given.It will close on 14th June and is expected to open on 16th November.I'm informed that a cafe will be incorporated above but it will be a foodhall and nothing else just bigger and likely more open

Farewell Major Margaret O'Houlihan (Hot Lips)l

The death of Loretta Swit at 87 years of age takes me back to my halcyon days enjoying the fruits of life, mainly playing football and cricket very poorly but enjoyably.Watching weekly episodes of M.A.S.H. weekly was a must, and needless to say the character of Hot Lips was a main attraction.The best thing a Labour PM ever did for me and other young men was Harold Wilson refusing to send GB to join America in the war against the Viet Cong.

Is M&S about to take over two car parks for expansion project?

Front PageThis latest report now tells me my question about where the cafe iswould go without taking up vital ground floor space for food expansion.I was told the cafe would be on a mezzanine floor.If you build out into the Chiswick Common Road Car Park, then I guess the cafe on a mezzanine floor would be the answer to my question.Not fact-based, but my question of where could be the answer to the front page that might merit some truth.Not sure about the other car park, as you have the alleyway at the back of the original back entrance. Unless it is going to be part of the loading offloading idea.Who knows but im looking forward to a bigger brighter M&S

A Concorde spotted at Heathrow today!

I went to the Heathrow Bus Terminal today ... and jumped on a route 555 bus to Hersham.The bus meanders around Heathrow for some 30 minutes visiting local Hotels and Terminals.Near Hatton Cross Station there is a hugh British Airways hanger and quietly parked outside is a glorious Concorde Aircraft.Just to let you know.A suggestion. Take a train to Hatton Cross Station and walk to the sight!

Missing Cat

Our beloved cat has gone missing from the Acton end of Woodstock Road. He has been gone since 7:00 this morning. I know it’s not that long but he rarely strays far from our garden and would have been back at home 3 or 4 times by now.He’s a long furred tabby aged 5. Hounslow Council Rubbish Collections

Is anyone having problems with fewer rubbish collections?Here at Chiswick Village the areas for us residents to recycle and have our rubbish collected is looking like a landfill site - bins overflowing.We don’t know when the next collection us due.Is this just us?You may have to click on the below.

Chiswick Station Footbridge

It would be very helpful to have a gulley for bikes fitted alongside the steps on this footbridge - can't be very expensive. Could you give me the email of National Rail's repairs Department, please? Would it be worth starting a petition?
