Collision Damage Waiver for Car Clubs

I've been looking at using a car club more often but it works out quite expensive if you pay the collision damage waiver per journey - which you really should given the huge excess they are looking for.Has anyone found a policy that would cover both car club hire and regular car hire overseas that could reduce the overall cost.

Hounslow pre-application planning advice

Interested in getting some pre-application planning advice as we are looking to move into a new property, part of which would require conversion from offices to a family home.Planning application would be needed to convert from business use to residential. It's not covered in "Permitted Development", as it's a grade II listed building.Is the Hounslow pre-planning service decent?Any useful comments on the above?

Hounslow Council not close to bankruptcy

They have said that they are not close to bankruptcy and may just maintain essential services and as far as I know they still want to move Brentford fountain at a cost of £100,000!

Mr Bates and the Post Office.

I have been following the the unbelievable saga of Mr Bates and the Post Office. Just watching the documentary now on ITV 1 Plus. I am wondering if OVO Energy are using the same Horizon computer system to cause stress to many thousands of OVO and former OVO customers as the post office was using. There are thousands of these customers who have complained that when they were switched from SSE to OVO they went from hundreds of pounds in credit to allegedly being up to £8000 in debit. Television, radio and newspapers nationwide have fought to get OVO to get their house in order. Large numbers of customers have had their gas and electric cut off owing to OVO's incompetence. According to today's Telegraph OVO  Energy’s parent company lends billionaire OVO founder Stephen Fitzpatrick £36m.
